World Youth Day for Democracy 2010
Thank you to all who participated in this year's World Youth Day for Democracy on October 18, 2010!!
World Youth Day for Democracy is the annual Launch Day for the Global Youth Democracy Campaign. Each year we encourage participants of the Youth Movement to organize events around this day. Events are then highlighted on the Youth Movement site, and possibly used as models for future actions in other countries and to build regional and local momentum for the advancement of democracy.
This year's theme for the Day was Recognizing Young Activists at Risk.
This year members hosted events in over 30 countries. We have records of more than 50 events, including photographs and videos collected below! Follow the links to see pictures and videos and to read more information about events from every region of the world.
